If you're looking for something vegan, organic, some soya or oat drink or other overpriced almond salad, this place is not for you. Here they sell a proper food and fry ups. Thanks, had a lovely breakfast.
A cute little cafe with friendly staff. Food was simple but delicious. I had a sausage bun with mushrooms, my husband had 2 fried eggs on toast and beans. Both came with extra toast. It was very busy, not surprising as food was well cooked and tasty. Well worth a visit.
Excellent full English breakfast for 8 including tea or coffee. Black pudding and hash browns were extras but still under 10. Dog friendly too.
Cannot fault any aspect of the breakfast, the service of the welcome. For 8 you get a massive breakfast with decent sausages (our mark of a good cafe). Pleased we found this little gem. No photos as I was too hungry. Just empty plates to return so no point in taking a pic. Dog friendly too which is a bonus.
My wife and I came up from West London and stayed in a House in Whitby who recommended “The Singing Kettle” and the place was great and the breakfast was very good indeed. The place reminds us of the cafes in Mecagissey Cornwall . Definitely would eat here again. Everything was fresh! Well worth the money!
We visited back in April and received multiple recommendations to try this place for breakfast - and all I can is WOW! Very fairly priced, super friendly staff, amazing service and cosy atmosphere. This is probably one of the best greasy spoon cafes I've ever come across. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return when we next visit
Traditional, family run cafe tucked down an alleyway in the heart of Whitby. Used by locals and visitors alike with great service and fantastic meals. I ate breakfast there both days I stayed in Whitby and would highly recommend
Wanted to visit last year but queue was too big.... Passed by with the family this year and no queue so dived in. Met by friendly staff and seated promptly. Order placed and 10 minutes later food was served. All singing all dancing breakfast for a family of four for 31 ! Although a great price the ingredients of a high standard and cooked perfectly.... Portion size great and Tomato sauce Heinz not cheap vinegar tasting stuff. Well deserved 5/5. I’ll be back!
